Marshall Recognized as Outstanding Chapter at 2009 Leadership Conference

It was a great evening at Indiana University Auditorium when the Best Buddies chapter at George C. Marshall High School in Falls Church, Virginia was presented with the First Runner-Up for Overall Outstanding Chapter at Best Buddies International’s 20th Annual Student Leadership Conference, July 24-27, 2009.
Chosen from more than 800 Best Buddies high school programs and 80 Outstanding Chapter applicants, George C. Marshall High School was selected for its dedication to the Best Buddies mission.
“The award reflects the hard work and leadership of our students involved in the program,” said Marshall Principal Jay Pearson.
“I am privileged to work in a school like Marshall where students of all ability levels come together each day.”
